It may feel as though it's not stopped raining for 40 days and 40 nights but it's yet to dampen the Mosquito Inc collective's creative flow. As we settle in to our new home in The Foundry offices, the artists and designers have been busy producing some lovely creative goodness. Firstly we welcome onboard graphic and website designer Matt, who's speciality is creating eye catching and effective direct mail, advertising and branding.
Alex has designed this years Look Books for the Bristol and London Graduate Fashion Degree shows, Joe has created illustrations in loving memory of the King of Pop MJ, which will feature in the next issue of Fault magazine, http://www.faultmagazine.com, God bless Jacko. Alice's latest additions to her portfolio include a silkscreen poster for a short film called 'Follow the Master' by filmmaker/artist Matt Hulse, an illustration featuring in the A/W issue of Cent magazine, with guest editor Michael Herz, Head of Design for Aquascutum Womenswear and a circus-style poster for the Strange Days and Some Flowers exhibition at the Storey Gallery, Lancaster. Mosquito Inc and The Foundry are launching a series of events under the name of Fusion hosted by Central Station in Wrexham. The laid back networking events will fuse art, music and local businesses together. Central Station's chill out lounge is the perfect setting for beating the mid week blues, appreciate some cool art and kick back to DJs mixing up mellow, chill out tracks. Fusion launches on 15th September, so come and join us for some relaxed, cultural networking, we'd love to see you there!
