Since graduating with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Arts, Mike has established himself as a successful freelancer specialising in graphic design, illustration and animation. He has built up a varied client base and has worked with leading design studios in Liverpool.
His character designs for the CALM charity have been his most prolific and independent work. He has worked along side Liverpool Post Production company, Sparkle Media with the internationally renowned Singh Twins and the Sydney Theatre Company. Mike was also involved with the opening animation for the launch of the Capital of Culture in Liverpool's Echo Arena.
Drawing his inspiration primarily from Japanese popular culture, Mike also has a keen interest in film, animation, nature, mythology and science. Random quirks, noodles and a Zen-like minimalism occupy his mind and work.
