Maisie has been involved in a number of Big Draw events, given a talk about her work and held an illustration workshop for a group of secondary school pupils.
Maisie is passionate about drawing, exploring new places and setting new challenges for herself. Taking Influence from people’s life stories, children’s books, animation, film, pub chats, puns, treasures found in charity shops, car boot sales and flea markets.
The most special piece of work she’s created so far was a series of images illustrating a story about a bully. She enjoyed working on every aspect of the project from the initial character developments and rough layout plans to the final sequence of images.
