Matt has worked in various areas of the creative industry over the years, including advertising, animation, storyboarding, model making, book illustration and public art. Matt also set up a film production company called 'Pickled Circus' and toured his art exhibitions around numerous UK galleries.
Influenced by all manner of things, history, pop culture, people and places he’s visited but literature and books are usually his biggest influence. Passionate about films, music and going to live gigs, Matt also likes getting engrossed in a good book or roaming the great outdoors.
His most memorable pieces of work he’s created so far are his picture book, 'The Crocodile that Ate Christmas' and his public art sculpture 'Ambidextrous' (a giant typewriting millipede!) Although both could be trumped by 'Reel', a dark humoured animation he’s currently creating. Having designed every visual aspect of the film, “It's ruined my social life, but it could prove to be my pièce de résistance!”
